Government Plan to Charge Users for Broadband Upgrade Could Hit EC Roadblock

The Digital Britain report, which has been proposed by Lord Carter, might face some legal trouble due to one of its suggestions of charging 50 pence per month from fixed line users for the purposes of funding an upgrade in the broadband infrastructure of the country. Approximately £200 million will be required for the upgrade, which will allow 2Mb connectivity to everyone in the country. This will be implemented partly by using the £6 per year, which will be charged from the users.
Lord Carter said that the extra burden, which the users have to bear, would be easily compensated for in the future by the increasing competition in the market, which would decrease the headline prices significantly.
The EC wants to check whether the proposal complies with the competition law or not. Funding to any industry should comply with the competition law. The spokesperson for the EC said that they were not sure about whether the broadband levy on the fixed line subscribers for funding the upgrade in the network would breach the competition law.
The problem is that the government can provide industry aid only within a limit. In all probability, the broadband levy cannot be an exception to this rule. A competition spokesperson from the EC said that unless the UK government decides upon the manner of implementing the project suggested in the report, it could not be said whether there would be any legal issues arising from it. The EC is currently unable to evaluate whether the levy complies with the EU state aid rules or not, he said. I have been reading a lot of great new blogs recently. I am unconvinced about all the twitter tizzy. I still enjoy blogs and have a huge number in my feed reader.
The cool thing about blogs is that you can find hidden gems, and they are from individuals that actually like to put pen to paper.
Sure you can find some stylish individuals on twitter. But, seriously, twitter is for individuals with add or who dont like to write proper posts. Yes, tons of people twitter and also blog, and those people are stylish by me, but I am incessantly and forever a blog devotee.
Blogs force the author to really articluate their belief. Twitter however merely allows for you to state it. Call me old fashioned but I think there is a point where smaller is no longer hotter. We have been obsessed with miniturization for so long. Peculiarly when it comes to technology. Surely there has to be a place where we see substance matters. Value matters. What do you suppose?
Maybe the down-to-earth answer rests in balance. And compromise. You cannot pressure individuals to have essence and not be shallow. But, too possibly you need to drive the inward looking hippies to lighten up a little aswell?
Hoping for a Reinvention of Myself Thru My Quality Wig

It’s not easy to talk about, but lace front wigs were not something I was familiar with. Anchoring the nightly news was what kept me pretty busy. That was true until two years ago when my hair wouldn’t be the same because of alopecia. I resolved that I shouldn’t condone the outcome of showing up at work as a thin-haired fashion victim from New Hampshire.
Personally, this meant that I was all alone, deprived of my trademarked hair do. I believed that it would be more than difficult to recover great fashion and the hair to match. Oh, I was ignorant. Before I got my new real wig, I attempted a wide array of ridiculous synthetic hair weaves that made me uncomfortable. My boyfriend Harry worked his magic and found respectable, medical wig websites that carried lace front wigs that would feel great.
Anyhow, I biked to the Internet cafe and checked it out. I found myself browsing a cornucopia of astonishing, beautiful real human hair wigs. Their natural invisible lace wigs worked!
Trying on the right wig, a woman like me may very well develop courage when accepting her hair loss due to cancer. Never have I been so inspired to show off my latest voluminous hair. It meant a lot to me to proudly exert my confidence again on the streets of Manhattan.
Perhaps things are not as great as they seem, but looks are important to who I am. Is there a deeper meaning to being alive than a beautiful head of hair? You know, it wouldn’t matter anyway if that were so. Here’s the good news: womens hair loss can be beat!
I couldn’t tell you what these blessings have meant to me. No one has noticed the truth of me and my wigs (I have two now, for different styles). However that’s how it goes, I’m thankfully prepared to to strut my stuff. Lace front wigs enriched life for me.
Many may think this sentiment is superficial. They have no idea. What makes existing on earth so worthwhile? For me, the secret is kitchenware (haha!) and my inimitable style.

A pathologist takes a sample of tissue from the region that cancer is suspected and examines the biopsy which results in a very precise diagnosis. Biopsies are typically pain-free.
Another option is a CT (Computed Tomography) scan. This is an X-ray procedure where a scanner is moved around the body to snap cross-sectional pictures. Once in a while, a dye is ingested by the patient to help define the images. CT scans have an advantage over biopsies by being easier and non-invasive, and they are considered an effective way of diagnosing the disease. Beliefs vary whether a biopsy or scan is more cost-effective. If there are irregularities, a biopsy may be needed on top of the CT scan to confirm whether or not the irregularity is a tumor, and if thats the case, if its malignant or benign. Diagnosis of pleural mesothelioma is also possible by looking for cancer cells in a sample of fluid from the pleura.
Mesothelioma can also be screened and then diagnosed by any of these methods. Patients who may think they are at risk but do not display any symptoms are typically screened, to make sure they are not in danger or to catch the cancer as early as possible.
