Hoping for a Reinvention of Myself Thru My Quality Wig
24 June 2009It’s not easy to talk about, but lace front wigs were not something I was familiar with. Anchoring the nightly news was what kept me pretty busy. That was true until two years ago when my hair wouldn’t be the same because of alopecia. I resolved that I shouldn’t condone the outcome of showing up at work as a thin-haired fashion victim from New Hampshire.
Personally, this meant that I was all alone, deprived of my trademarked hair do. I believed that it would be more than difficult to recover great fashion and the hair to match. Oh, I was ignorant. Before I got my new real wig, I attempted a wide array of ridiculous synthetic hair weaves that made me uncomfortable. My boyfriend Harry worked his magic and found respectable, medical wig websites that carried lace front wigs that would feel great.
Anyhow, I biked to the Internet cafe and checked it out. I found myself browsing a cornucopia of astonishing, beautiful real human hair wigs. Their natural invisible lace wigs worked!
Trying on the right wig, a woman like me may very well develop courage when accepting her hair loss due to cancer. Never have I been so inspired to show off my latest voluminous hair. It meant a lot to me to proudly exert my confidence again on the streets of Manhattan.
Perhaps things are not as great as they seem, but looks are important to who I am. Is there a deeper meaning to being alive than a beautiful head of hair? You know, it wouldn’t matter anyway if that were so. Here’s the good news: womens hair loss can be beat!
I couldn’t tell you what these blessings have meant to me. No one has noticed the truth of me and my wigs (I have two now, for different styles). However that’s how it goes, I’m thankfully prepared to to strut my stuff. Lace front wigs enriched life for me.
Many may think this sentiment is superficial. They have no idea. What makes existing on earth so worthwhile? For me, the secret is kitchenware (haha!) and my inimitable style.
